*New Life Lutheran Church Hosts an Exciting Vacation Bible School Experience for Kids*
Sterling, IL – July 28th, 2024 – New Life Lutheran Church is thrilled to announce Sauk Valley VBS: Start the Party, an unforgettable evening vacation Bible school experience for kids aged 3-11.
“The end of the summer is when days seem to stretch forever, and getting the kids off their screens feels like a big fight,” said Pastor Drew Williams. “But that’s why we created an evening VBS that includes dinner, so that parents can get some time back while their kids have a blast.”
All kids ages 3 through incoming 5th graders are invited for an exciting week filled with free dinner every evening, high-energy activities, crafts, games, and inspiring Bible stories. Your kids will beg to come back!
Megan Williams, the New Life Kids Director, knows how important it is to have more opportunities for our kids to be nurtured as they grow, “Raising kids can be tough, and we know parents want to get it right. VBS is a great opportunity to help kids learn to live like Jesus in a safe and encouraging environment.”

- When: Sunday evening through Thursday evening, July 28th through August 1st, 5:30-8pm each night

- All volunteers are background-checked
- Parents are equipped for ongoing conversations with their kids about what they are learning in the Bible
ABOUT NEW LIFE LUTHERAN CHURCH:
Known as a church that is “for” our community, New Life has been a pillar of love and care for over 14 years. Led by Pastor Drew Williams, the church has hosted financial freedom classes to help people get out of debt and community events like the annual Christmas Concert and Winter Municipal Band concert. New Life is also known for its partnership with Fellowship Of Christian Athletes in helping teens grow and succeed, as well as its leadership of the Sauk Valley Serve Day every summer. All are welcome at New Life, and you’re encouraged to attend their services at 8:30am and 10:30am every Sunday.
